Let's grow together

Dear Friends,

We heard this year from a member named Jane, age 77, of Montana.  Jane sent us a packet of ‘Old-Fashioned’ marigold seeds to grow here at Heritage Farm. On the packet, she wrote, “Take good care of my treasures.”  In her letter, she thanked Seed Savers Exchange for our “dedication to keeping these treasures available.”

Your support allows us to maintain our collection at the highest scientific standards while treating each seed and its history with personal care. Thanks to you, we can take good care of Jane’s treasures and those of so many others.

As a pioneer in the heirloom seed movement, Seed Savers Exchange is more committed than ever to protecting and promoting heirloom seeds. Each year we hear from our friends and members like Jane who have been touched by SSE’s work and the role this community plays in their gardening lives and legacies.

Seed Savers Exchange is Dedicated to Protecting our Garden Heritage for Future Generations.

Your gift to Seed Savers Exchange does more than protect seeds.  It builds a secure future for all of us, one with fresh, healthy food on the table.  Your donation touches lives.

By making a donation to Seed Savers Exchange, you build seed libraries in communities that need sustainable food. You plant the first seed in school gardens across the country through our seed donation program. You plant heritage apple trees in America’s backyards. And most importantly, you maintain the more than 20,000 heirloom and open-pollinated plant varieties in our Heritage Farm Collection. You protect biodiversity.

Please make a donation to Seed Savers Exchange today.

There’s never been a better time to invest in the future of food.   You can protect our crop heritage for generations to come.

Sincerely,

John Torgrimson

Executive Director
